About Us

Dr Julie Heyes

Dr Julie Heyes received an Honours Degree in Dentistry from the University of Manchester in 1987. For the following ten years, she worked in a very busy NHS practice before emigrating to Perth in 1998.

In 2005, Clarkson North Dental Care opened its doors to the public and has been welcoming patients of all ages ever since.

Dr Heyes' favourite part of Dentistry is getting to know you and your family and helping to ensure you all have healthy, beautiful smiles.

Dr Diana Simmons

Dr Diana Simmons graduated from the UWA Dental School in 2005. This was followed by a Bachelor of Science and Associated Diploma in Dental Therapy. Dr Diana enjoys seeing patients of all ages and supports them with empathy, professionalism, and advice on how to maintain excellent teeth and gum health in the future.

Dr Diana regularly updates her skills with ongoing professional development. Outside of dentistry, she revels in fitness as a qualified instructor, travel, photography and spending time with her animals.

Dr Thomas Mahoney

Dr Tom received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2023. With an up-to-date knowledge of modern dentistry, he is renowned for a gentle approach that leaves patients smiling.

Dr Tom’s passion for dentistry has led him to be a past president of the Dental Student’s Society and gain extensive experience working in various government dental clinics, including spending time in remote communities as far as Katanning, providing a range of general and preventive services.

When not practising dentistry, Dr Tom can be found forcing himself to watch the Eagles lose each weekend and is an avid runner.

Dr Darshni Shah

Dr Darshni Shah graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Dentistry) from Kings College London in 2018.

Darshni has been in Australia since 2021, where she practised out of Bluff Point Dental, Geraldton, for a year before travelling around Australia with her husband.

Darshni offers a comprehensive range of services, including preventative treatment(s), advanced restorative procedures, veneers, dentures, and facial aesthetics.

In her spare time, Darshni is a passionate sportsperson who has participated in many team sports, including netball, basketball, badminton, and football. She loves snowboarding and scuba diving, and she has completed the world's highest bungee jump!
